If you are, come say HI at the Good Food Festival and Conference! Peterson Garden Project and Chicago Foodies will be hosting our third annual seed swap in the Commons area (just outside the entrance to the trade show). It is a lot of fun! Bring seeds to share if you have them – if not, there’s plenty to go around!
I will also be speaking that day on a panel called “Growing a Community Garden” at 12:30. If you’re interested in starting or growing a community garden, the panelists know the subject matter inside and out! So come with your questions… there will also be pop-up 20 minute mini-sessions on community gardens in the Commons area lead by Peterson Garden Project community point person Maribeth Brewer…
And, if that were’t enough, our new book Fearless Food Gardening in Chicagoland: A Month-by-month Growing Guide for Beginners will be on sale at the festival “book store” so you can grab a copy without having to pay shipping (or wait!)
Hope to see you there!
